The new high school addition was the venue for the Fillmore Central FBLA sponsored seventh and eighth grade dance on January 10. A good student turnout enjoyed music throughout the evening provided by DJ Ben Kaye Skinner. During the evening, the FBLA members announced door prizes and also conducted a limbo contest won by Michael Anderson and held a dance challenge recognizing Austin Wurtz, Ty Schelkopf and Zach Coash and first place winner, Brett Dunker. The FBLA provided snacks and games and also challenged students to guess the candy in a jar with Wyatt Rayburn and Hallie Verhage guessing closest. The FBLA sponsors the dance annually as a school service project. It also fundraises money for FBLA projects in addition to collecting food items for the Feed Nebraska project which will be donated to the Blue Valley Food Bank. Chaperones for the evening included Susan Biba, Crystal Lukes, Kristi Godown, Brandon Hinrichs, Melissa Myers, Madison Girmus, Russ and Chris Coash, FBLA alumni Faith Lauber and Braden Myers, and Cindy Talley, FBLA Adviser.
